I can honestly say that my students have an enthusiasm for physical education that is hard to come by in today's technology filled world. Regardless of their ages (first through fifth graders), they come to the gym with smiles on their faces and a willingness to experience new and exciting activities. Our school is classified as a Title I school and nearly 75% of our student body comes from low-income households. Our students experience hardships outside of school that could cause any child to struggle inside of it. That is what makes these kids an inspiration to our entire faculty and staff. They have the character traits that keep them striving to give their best under all circumstances. Our kids have the enthusiasm it takes to stay on the track to a healthy lifestyle. Now, all they need is the tools to assist them in their journey.
