My project will take form of an after school club where students will get the opportunity to make a difference in their community through their interests, skills and community service project ideas. The Community Service Art Club provides students with a creative outlet and establishes a mindset of civic engagement. Students will get the chance to brainstorm ideas on how to help their community, for example: creation of a community map with all the resources available to the community. The final project will showcase all student created work in a website, including all the community focused drawings, paintings, and photographs.
