The students at Hart Middle School are some of the poorest kids in the country living in one of the richest cities in the world. Although they love using computers, most of them do not have access to computers at home, so are not fluent in basic computer skills, such as typing and navigating more complex websites. In addition, without access, they are not getting to practice the critical thinking skills to be able to distinguish fact from fiction online.

About my class
