This equipment will allow students to safety learn the position of goalie. My students do not always have the financial ability to participate in sports that require a lot of expensive equipment. I would love to be able to removed the finanicial barrier of participation in the sport of field hockey to make the sport accessible to students of all economic status. Goalies have the most equipment required by the sanctioning body and, by far, the most expensive. This equipment will allow students to safely attempt the position of goalie without the financial burden of having to purchase the equipment on their own.
