My 2nd grade students are a bunch of vivacious little rascals. Each one unique in their learning needs and motivations. One thing they all agree upon is learning needs to be fun! At our public school in central Indiana, we utilize an amazing program called Daily 5. This allows me to teach mini-lessons to the group, and then allow them time to independently practice the 5 components essential for reading comprehension. During this independent time, I have the opportunity to form small groups or work with individual students on specific skills that need to be reinforced. All of the items asked for are carefully selected with specific students and their needs in mind. Thank you to everyone who donates to my projects, as well as those who share my projects on Facebook.
