Many of my students lack access to the same technology in my Math class that more affluent students have and in turn also lack the skills needed to work with said technology. The improvement in student-learning and more importantly the development of necessary technical skills are critical to my students' overall achievement. Receiving this donation of TI-Nspire CX calculators is an essential first step in building a class set. Ultimately, my goal would be to provide the students with an opportunity to access the latest technology available and permit-able for use​ in my class, on standardized testing and hopefully in their future engineering/math classes in college!

About my class
