I currently have fourteen amazing students in my Kindergarten classroom! This number typically fluctuates throughout the year since I am located in a low income area, which causes families to have to move around during the year. My students are eager to learn every day they come to school. I enjoy seeing them get excited when they realize that they can read a book, or even just knowing every letter in the alphabet. Our school is a safe place for our students. Some students are raised by older siblings and rarely see their parents due to work. When the students come to school, they know they will be getting the attention they deserve for at least a couple hours a day. I try and go above and beyond everyday for these kids so they have something to look forward to each day instead of what they might have to go home to each night.
