My students are social scientist who need access to materials that go beyond textbooks and allow them to become skilled, 21st century thinkers and learners. Students study the geography, government, economics and modern day entire actions of the entire Eastern Hemisphere, from ancient civilizations to current events. To successfully accomplish this task students need to be able to collaborate with their classmates and peers who may not even be in the same city, state or country. Having daily access to Chromebooks provides my students the opportunity to explore the countries and cultures they are learning about through a variety of primary and secondary sources.
