My students are hardworking, active, kinesthetic learners who learn better in less restrictive environments. Students will have the option to trade out the traditional desk chair for a yoga ball chair. I have done this activity with my students the last two years and many of them prefer to use the yoga ball as their desk chairs. We read articles, written by teachers and students documenting improvements in grades and focusing. My students then analyze the data obtained from their own experiences and graded work. Students then decide if the yoga balls had an affect on their own academic success.
