My classroom strives to meet the needs of a variety of learners -- I am an intervention teacher for students 1st through 4th grade. We work in building number sense, fact fluency, connecting math to the real world, and bridging the gaps they might face in accessing grade level content. In literacy groups, we are learning the alphabetic principle, phonemic awareness, fluency, and practicing writing skills along the way. Each day brings joy, challenges, and everything in between, and we are constantly working towards becoming our greatest selves in this process.
