We are a title 1 school located in southern California. About 80% of our students are from low income families with a majority of Hispanic decent. In my classroom I work with a wide variety of students with a majority of them being low achieving, English language learners, and/or special needs students. While many of them aim for college, they need lots of help building the skills to get there or succeed in a career right after high school. Our school has two CTE programs, as well as an AVID program to help students succeed and reach their goals.
