Teaching three distinct classes and working with over one hundred students poses challenges in organizing a classroom. Each class is given a warm-up question and presented with daily content and language objectives. With only one small whiteboard available, the question is where to present the question and objectives. Our high school is one of the most diverse schools in the country; 30% of the students are Asian, 20% are Hispanic, and 8% are African-American. Over 50% of our students receive free or reduced lunch. Over 40 different languages are spoken in the homes of our students.
