A key part to our literacy block is listen to reading. Our students use an online reading library called MyOn where students have access to thousands of books. Most of the books can be read aloud to them which helps students at all levels. This past year we bought cheap earbuds for every student. Many of them broke within the first month, leaving students unable to listen to their books. Therefore, having higher quality over the ear headphones will ensure that students can effectively use MyOn to better their literacy skills. Having these headphones will allow students to complete their literacy station rotation without interrupting other students. Thank you in advance for allowing us to take advantage of the technology and programs available to us!
