Flexible, fun seating will help my elementary school library become a place where students will want to come to sit, read, and learn. Right now, the library furniture is very functional but very traditional. I would like to update it to make more seating that all the students will find fun and comfortable. I want the library to be a place where students feel welcome. Comfy furniture, combined with the shelves we already have, will help. I plan on keeping the tables and chairs for the older students who need to sit and do research. The couches, chairs and floor seats will be part of a new reading area that all students will be able to use. From formal library story time to independent reading, everyone loves a comfortable place to get lost in a story.
