I am the K-12 music teacher in a very small Title 1 school district. My students are the best in the whole world, and it is a blessing every single day to come to "work" and be with them. Thank YOU for your interest in supporting music in our schools! Music education plays a major role in developing successful, well-rounded, mentally healthy adults. I truly believe that music gives kids a place to belong, an outlet safely express themselves, and an opportunity to work towards the deep satisfaction of achieving long-term goals.
