This kidney shape table will make a difference in my students' learning because they will sit no more than an arm's length from the teacher as they work in small groups or one to one instruction learning how to read. Students will collaborate on the large anchor chart paper and white paper using the markers to share their learning. This will positively impact student learning. This will make students more willing to actively participate as they are close to the teacher and can speak softly to their partners. This will be particularly helpful for shy students or students who are nervous trying out a new language.
