My class of 25 second grade public school city kids are intensely curious about the natural world around them. Many have limited access to nature. Their powers of observation are just emerging, as are their critical thinking skills. Our school has a well-developed art program, which keeps our students engaged in school. In my classroom I want to energize my second graders with a hands-on science curriculum. Thank you Amanda, for helping to fund my project.
