The materials included in this project will ensure our K5-1st scholars have access to interesting, instructional-level texts during small-group reading time. Right now, we have few guided reading options in our school's Reading Resource room for our kids in Grades K5-1 -- your contribution would help rectify that! Kindergarten and First Grade are two crucial years in terms of reading development and students learning to love reading. Giving scholars access to books at their level will only help further their growth and readers and writers! Having a variety of texts to choose from will help keep our scholars engaged and excited during small-group reading time.
