My students are still getting used to having classes in person and sitting on hard chairs for about 7 hours a day. Having flexible seating allows students to move and be comfortable but still remain on task. My hope is that by giving my students these flexible seating options they will have better concentration and increased focus to help them with their learning. Help me make our classroom environment fun and engaging with these flexible seating options: wobble cushions, floor seats and balance ball chairs. When students are given choices of where to sit during independent work times, they are more motivated to complete their work. There is a huge difference in their attention and behavior when they feel safe and comfortable. 1.PS.3.1 Explain a person's right to feel comfortable, safe, and respected.
