My students live in a small, rural town in North Carolina. My students are eager to learn and value the education they receive here. The school is small and has a high percentage of English language learners, students who may still struggle with reading or writing the English language. Often times, I will read to the class so that these students will have a better understanding of the text. It is amazing to see them on the edge of their seats as we read through a book!
