Listening to fluent reading is an important part of learning to read. I want my first grade students to have as many opportunities to listen to fluent reading as I can possibly provide! I teach at a Title 1 school. Many of our students are now bused in from other campuses because they are full and over cap. I have 22 amazing first graders who are learning the gift of reading! I want to give them the strongest foundation I can. In my first grade classroom I build the foundation for successful readers and successful leaders. My students are wonderful kids waiting for opportunities that will broaden their horizons.
