These books will help to enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to create. They will be use as a whole group teaching tool to continue teaching our students the fundamentals of reading along with the Rooted in Reading program. The diversity of the books will engage our kids as they connect to the story lines and words. The diversity of these picture books is far beyond our traditional reading curriculum. The binders, brads, and library pockets will help the curriculum organized so that it is readily available. I know that this project will leave a last impression on our students and I can't wait to see their love of reading grow through this program.
