This new carpet will be an asset to my classroom by giving my students a clean, comfortable area to complete work, read their favorite books, work on the computer, and for us to meet as a class. The squares on the carpet will help my classroom management by assigning students a certain block every time we meet. Students are more willing to take academic risks when in an environment they are comfortable. My special education classroom needs this new rug to increase my students' comfort in their working environment. My current rug is a hand-me-down and has lots of wear and tear. This new rug will brighten my entire room.
