My Pre-Kindergarten classroom is among one of the oldest spaces in our building. Our students come from very diverse backgrounds and cultures. The majority of our students families are struggling with poverty and finding the resources that are necessary. I goal is to revamp some of my old worn down spaces in my classroom to really jumpstart a love for learning and ignite curiosity in all my youngsters. I make sure they each feel safe and loved for the few hours they are with me. They each need to know how special they are and that anything is achievable if they work hard for what they want.
