I teach 4th grade ELA to 60 students in an urban setting. When you drive through our neighborhood you will see a part of the city that is rebuilding. Most of my students are living in families struggling to make ends meet. I work very hard to make my classroom a place where they can feel safe. A place where they have everything they need to be a success. My students love brain breaks and recess. They are enthusiastic and energetic, and I work to inspire them to reach their educational goals.

About my class
