This seating area will help my students see our room as a second home. It will help in comforting them when they are upset, getting comfortable with a good book, or getting to know a peer they just met. Making a classroom feel like home is essential in children’s growth. This seating area will provide comfort and add to our classroom community. A couch is a place where you go to relax, but is also a place where you go to have meaningful conversations with the ones you love. Please help my students get the opportunity to do that!
