Hi everyone! I'm a first-year teacher at a school in East Harlem teaching in the middle of a pandemic. What are the odds! Many of my students' families are low income and do not have the time or ability to get their children basic supplies. On top of that, we are a full remote first grade so we have never got to be with each other! These materials will help students during math and reading lessons. We love story time and sharing things about one another. I would love to build a library where I can pick up a book and read to my class together because even virtually, we can all feel a little more connected.
