Having just completed my year of student teaching, this is my first year teaching in my own classroom! San Pedro Elementary has 92% of its student who are Emergent Bilinguals (English Learners)! My 2nd graders require books to help them with their literacy. In order for students to be able grow in their reading, it is important to have books that are "just right" for the students. The classroom library needs books to provide more variety in levels for the students!
