During Hurricane Harvey, my students lost all of the Art room furniture and supplies. Our classroom used to be out in the temporary buildings where a terrible leak formed. The classroom molded forcing us to throw everything out. Our class is now inside the building, where we have no chairs and working on bumpy meeting tables. The texture of the bumpy tables shows up on the students artwork, so new smooth tabletops would make a major difference in the art work of the students. The students also stand the entire art class period, so the stools and the carpet would really help.
