My kids are students who are eager to learn. They love to be able to do experiments and try things on their own. Unfortunately the area they live in is a lower income area and therefore they don't have as many opportunities to experiment as other students might. We are a school where more that 50% of the population qualify for free or reduced lunch. We also have quite a few English Language Learners, who will learn better by actually doing the experiments.
