I teach a wide range of learners. I have many gifted students along with struggling readers who are well below grade level. Many of my students need extrinsic motivation to work on a reading or writing task that may be challenging for them. I always try to implement various resources to help them with this lack of motivation. I want my students to enjoy ELA, excited to come into class each day. I teach 6th grade in a 4-6 building, it is a unique setting and works great for our students.
