Furniture, learning tools and classroom supplies go through a lot of wear and tear in a pre k classroom! Manipulative sets, like counting bears and magnetic letters, get easily lost (and sometimes easily taken home in tiny pockets!) and need to be replaced for utmost effective learning. What good is a magnetic alphabet set if half are missing? Your generous donation will provide a safer environment by replacing overused and broken furniture. A smaller water and sand table will also create more space for a puppet theater to encourage imagination and storytelling. A new space to store dress up clothes will help keep our little dramatic players organized when cleaning up. Due to continuing changes in classroom management requirements and best practices, pocket charts and organizers help teachers facilitate expectations.
