"It's a Nebinger thing!" Nebinger is located in South Philadelphia. Our school is comprised of a variety of students with varying backgrounds, cultures, and experiences. Many of the students are coming from low income settings with limited resources. It is my privilege to be servicing and teaching in the Special Education Department within the building. I serve as both the middle school inclusion learning support teacher, as well as the liaison between our Special Education staff and the administration. My students are the most amazing kids. They are enthusiastic about learning, focused on their education, and packed with personality that keeps me on my toes. The majority of the students I service on a daily basis have been diagnosed with high incidence disabilities, but due to my liaison role, I have been more involved with our low incidence student population. It is safe to say, my students make it worthwhile!
