Room 27 is a learning environment where students are given opportunities to explore the world of learning while gaining independence and self-confidence in their own abilities. We begin our year with a chant..."I can do it, I can do it, I can try my best!" Kindergarteners are an inspirational, curious, and loving group of learners, and the ones in my classroom are no exception! We are growing, questioning, and learning each and every day through hands-on exploration opportunities, technology, and workshop-style reading & writing practice. In addition to academic focus, my classroom and students are working on becoming thoughtful individuals who follow the Golden Rule - treat others the way you would like to be treated. Their naturally caring hearts and kind souls are seen daily as they accept each other and support each other on their individual learning paths.
