Studies show that when a student is comfortable in their environment, they are better able to focus on the most important thing: learning. The standing laptop desks will be useful for students who like to fidget, or may otherwise fall asleep after a long work shift the night before. The activity tables and stacking stools will allow students to more easily find various speaking partners and give more space to organize their work space that traditional desks do not allow for. My students are noticeably more engaged in their work and less disruptive of their peers when they are given a choice of where to work. With your help, we can ensure that my students can remain focused on what really matters: enhancing their World Language skills.
