I teach in a Title I school in rural Northwest Tennessee. The area is diverse in that it has many transient/migrant workers. Our school is lucky to have many familiar faces of students and teachers who return each year. I am a new teacher here and class lacks a lot of items that could potentially move students forward. My students are excited about learning. School is their sanctuary. I hope to make their sanctuary more inviting for them.
