My students are in a combined 3rd and 4th grade Harry Potter inspired, and teacher created environment. My students are creative, inquisitive, and an active group! They are very supportive of one another's successes, and the class as a whole, and will try their very best as we practice growth mindset daily.Our school is urbanly located, and is a Title I school.The program provides supplemental funding to districts with high concentrations of poverty in order to help meet school educational goals. The school has about 270 students, where over 90% receive or qualify for free lunch and breakfast.Many come to school with struggles, yet prepared to learn and as we say "grow our brains!" I want our classroom to be a place of comfort and a place to express their individual learning styles.
