The Lowell High School Animal Science students won a grant for a Bearded Dragon in their classroom, and they need help creating a home for it! Miss Cross applied for another grant that gave them a Bearded Dragon, however it doesn't cover the costs of the habitat.
The LHS Animal Science and FFA students would benefit greatly from having a class pet, many of our students want to become vets and vet techs! They could use this valuable experience to learn animal handling skills as well as care. We need a specific tank to house the Beardie and it requires special environmental enhancers for it's health and well being. Bearded dragons require specific temperatures in their tank, and they also need a shelter as well as hiding places. In order to keep the tank sanitary and safe young dragons need to be kept on a reptile carpet. Please help us safely house our dragon!
The students and I, Miss Cross, would greatly appreciate any donation we would be fortunate enough to receive! We all desperately want to have our Bearded Dragon in a comfortable environment that it will grow into, and love for years to come!
