As a first year teacher of kindergarten students, I want the very best for my students but can't always afford to supply every I want for my kids. Adding this play center, is something I believe would be a huge benefit to my students. My students will keep play in their day by "playing" grocery store. Through free play and guided activities, we will improve our math and reading skills along with social skills, oral language skills, and more. I need to purchase this grocery store set-up along with pretend foods and pretend cash register. Items will be priced and students will use pretend money to purchase and sell the items. We will also convert the grocery store into specialty stores throughout the school year, such as a pet store, flower shop, coffee shop and more. This is an item that will be used daily in class this year and for many years to come.
