My school has approximately 60.9% of students who come from socioeconomically disadvantaged households. My 2nd grade classroom has English learners, students who receive special education support and students who are working at or above grade level. My classroom has students from many different backgrounds and family situations. When we are learning in our classroom we are working hard and also trying to have fun. Our classroom is our “home” during the day and homes need items so it can function.
