My students with autism, have differences in the way their brains develop and process information. As a result, they face significant communication, social, and behavior challenges. But that doesn't define them to me! I have students that are so bright they could tell you the scientific name of any animal. Ranging from an elephant to as small as a flea. I have other students who have taught me everything I will ever need to know about Captain America or minecraft! They teach me new things everyday and definitely keep me on my toes but I wouldn't change my job or the time I get to spend with these kids for anything!
