My classroom currently lacks a functioning kidney table for small group work. I struggle every day to reach my students one-on-one at our current table due to the lack of space and the current table tilt. We desperately need this table for not only math and reading but for confidence building and encouragement as well. When students come to my table they know that it is their moment to shine. They are able to show what they know to not only me but to their peers as well. It is such an amazing confidence booster that sets up a classroom culture for success!
