The materials listed in this projects have been chosen to create a classroom environment where basic needs can be met without worry. Loads of pencils, lots of colorful markers, plenty of band-aids for those stinging paper cuts, and folders to stay organized will help me start off the next school year with a good foundation. Being able to supply what some might consider the most basic of school supplies is fundamental in the urban setting I teach in. These supplies relieve the stress and worry the families of my students experience when it comes time to shop for the new school year. Soft comfy chairs offer a welcoming sight to readers who might enjoy lounging about while reading their favorite novel. An alternative to the plastic classroom chairs, the plush folding chairs listed in my project help me make reading a more enticing activity to participate in. After all, who doesn't enjoy a cozy spot to get lost in the plot of a mystery!?
