We will be learning by doing! The recycling bins will allow us to sort through the paper, plastic and paper towels as we use the materials. This initiative will allow the scholars to learn how we can properly dispose of the products! The other items can teach us how to reuse items for the compost. One of the problems our scholars are trying to solve is to save trees. My scholars have noticed that they throw away a lot of paper. They are concerned about the environmental issue of deforestation. They want to recycle their paper. Our scholars discovered that they need a recycle bin only for the waste paper. These bins will help them to collect the recycled paper from each classroom and give them a sense of accomplishment and responsibility towards helping the environment.
