The nonfiction books and magazines I have requested is needed for my reading classroom. Often times my student’s want to read nonfiction books but can’t find any on their level in our school library. By adding these items to my classroom library, I hope to increase my students’ interest in reading and especially nonfiction books. With this project, they will get a classroom set of books about sports, academic literacy books to increase their reading skill level, and a magazine subscription. The magazine subscription is particularly important because they need to learn that they don’t have to read a chapter book to read.
