These flexible seating and table options will help me in creating a calm and comfortable counseling classroom. Using these tools I hope to create an environment that is conducive to learning, expressing emotion and feelings, and calming down in an appropriate way. Creating a comfortable space will help my students to regulate and calm their bodies to a level where we can continue the conversation about what brought them to that heightened state and how we can work to avoid those situations in the future. In creating a warm and inviting space I hope to give my students the tools they need to be successful throughout their educational journey.
