My third grade classroom consists of 27 students. As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, my classroom is filled with students who face many challenges in and out of the classroom. My goal is provide my students with meaningful academic, social and emotional learning experiences. These students vary in academic levels and often struggle with staying on task and being able to answer comprehension questions. Even with their struggle, these students come to school eager to learn with smiles on their faces. These third graders deserve the very best education so they can become college and career ready.

About my class
