I have great students who need to feel comfortable in their classroom. I feel that students produce their best work when they are in a comfortable and inviting environment. These surf tables with help my students who like to sit on the floor to work. It gives them a surface to write on while also allowing them to choose where they work best. Oftentimes my students like to sit on the floor but it can be a little awkward trying to solve math problems hunched over. I also believe these will help add to our collaborative environment so large groups can work together and are not confined to tradition desks.
