Teaching is a passion of mine. I believe that teachers play a significant role in an individuals life through their teaching material, life skills, developmental skills, compassion, moral etc. Alongside parents, teachers must guide students through every developmental stage while providing a safe environment to learn and grow while providing support, supervision, and motivation. I believe the role of a teacher is to scaffold a child as they develop, for they may need assistance, but allow students to master different things on their own with their own methods and ways. I see a teacher as a person to guide, lean on, listen, and provide love, understanding, and a person who never gives up on their students. A role of a teacher is to be there for their students through their growth and development throughout their lives. These characteristics I described as a teacher's role, are expectations I hold myself to.
