I am looking to gather many different genres of books to help supplement the curriculum as well as books that will garner the interest of my class. In addition to books, there are some classroom materials (like a listening center) that would help my students to hear letter sounds, words and become better readers. I would love to see the students using the listening center with the audio books to read kindergarten classics like Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, Brown Bear, and many others. Hearing the sounds from these books, while seeing the words will make my readers more confident in trying to read on their own!
